Artist Lyne Marshall explores the intricate landscapes of the mind and emotions through various media. Trained at USQ Toowoomba, with a long career exhibiting in numerous solo exhibitions in Australia and abroad, she now prefers the intimacy of her island home. About the artist
Lyne roamed the beaches of Bribie Island as a child. Before returning she had an amazing 30 + year encounter with the natural bush at Tallegalla, in a fully solar home on 160 acres on Minden Range. Setting up a gallery on a lovely natural garden acre at Ningi in Queensland became her next adventure and visitors expressed their delight at the opportunity to view work where is was created and speak with the artist.
As an adventurer and traveler, inspired by remote landscapes, Lyne interprets and recreates the emotional aspects of these experiences in her studio. From the 7th – 21st July 2025 Serendipity Popup Art exhibited Lyne Marshall’s paintings, sculptures, etchings and books in Bribie Island Central Shopping Centre. We were next to Flair Jewellers and had an amazing response. More pop ups may be coming in 2026.
